Spring 2023 – Fashion trends you need to see!

Are you ready for the latest fashion trends of Spring 2023? Well, buckle up, because these trends are not for the faint of heart!

Spring is here and with it comes a whole new set of fashion trends. But this year, things are getting a little bit wild. We're talking about trends that will make you do a double take, question your sanity, and maybe even make you laugh out loud. So, if you're ready to embrace the boldness of Spring 2023 fashion, then let's dive right in! But fear not, because we're going to take a look at these trends and give you some tips on how to rock them without looking like a clown!

Colors Let's start with the neon colors trend. This year, it seems like designers have all gone a little color-blind. We're talking neon greens, pinks, and yellows that will make you look like a walking highlighter. But fear not, because there are ways to incorporate neon into your wardrobe without looking like a rave queen. Try pairing a neon top with neutral bottoms or wearing a neon accessory to add a pop of color to your outfit. Then on the other end of the rainbow we have the pastel colors, the sweet and delicate shades that are perfect for springtime. But let's be real, wearing pastels can make you feel like a walking Easter egg. Sure, you'll look like you just stepped out of a fashion magazine, but you'll also look like you belong in a basket full of chocolate bunnies. But hey, if looking like a pastel-colored marshmallow is your thing, then go for it! Just don't be surprised if people start trying to take a bite out of you. 😮

Silhouettes Next up, oversized blazers. This trend seems to be inspired by our dad's old suits from the 90s. We did call them Boyfriend jackets in the 90’s. But hey, who doesn't love a good throwback? The trick with oversized blazers is to balance out the volume with fitted bottoms. Think high-waisted jeans or a pencil skirt to keep the look from overwhelming your frame.

The maxi skirt trend is back and it's bigger than ever! Literally, these skirts are so long they could double as a sleeping bag. But who needs practicality when you can look like you're walking on a cloud? The only downside is that you may need a map and a compass to navigate through the fabric, and don't even think about trying to climb stairs or hop over a fence. But hey, if you're feeling adventurous and want to test your agility, go ahead and rock that maxi skirt. Just make sure you bring a friend to help you untangle yourself if things get too crazy.

Fabrics

Ah yes, the denim & denim trend. Nothing says "I'm ready to farm some land" like wearing a denim jacket with matching denim jeans. Now if you're going for that all-denim look, might as well go all out, and wear a denim hat and boots too, right? Just be careful not to blend into the scenery too much unless you're planning on taking up a career in camouflage. And if you're really feeling daring, throw on a denim fanny pack to complete the look. You'll be the envy of all the cows in the field.

The mesh fabric trend is making a comeback and it's bringing all the holes with it! Yes, you too can now look like a walking piece of cheese cloth. But don't worry, you won't be completely exposed to the elements, as long as you don't mind a little bit of ventilation. Just be careful when you're walking in a breeze, unless you want to give everyone a sneak peek of what's underneath. And let's not forget the struggle of trying to find the perfect undergarments that won't clash with the mesh. So, if you're feeling bold and want to show off some skin without actually showing it off, go ahead and mesh it up!

Accessories And finally, let's talk about the statement accessories trend. We're talking about earrings the size of your face, necklaces that could double as a hula hoop, and hats that could shelter a small village. The key to pulling off statement accessories is to keep the rest of your outfit simple. Let the accessories do the talking and keep your clothing understated.

The platform slip on shoe trend is here and it's taking fashion to new heights! Literally. These shoes are so tall, you might need a ladder to get into them. Who needs practicality when you can look like you're on stilts? Just be careful when you're walking on uneven terrain, unless you want to risk breaking an ankle or two. And let's not forget the struggle of trying to drive a car in these things. You might have to sit on a phone book just to reach the pedals. If you're feeling like you want to tower over everyone else and feel like a giant, go ahead and slip into those platform shoes. Just don't be surprised if people start asking you to reach things off of high shelves for them.

The sculpted purse trend is here and it's shaping up to be quite the fashion statement! These purses are so unique and artistic, they might as well be in a museum. But let's be real, they're not exactly the most practical accessory. You might have to carry a separate bag just to hold all the things that won't fit into your sculpted purse. And let's not forget the struggle of trying to fit it into a locker or under a restaurant table. If you're feeling like you want to carry a piece of art around with you everywhere you go, then go ahead and sculpt it up! Just be prepared for people to ask you if they can touch your purse, and let's hope they don't try to sculpt it themselves.

Spring 2023 fashion is shaping up to be a wild ride. From neon colors to oversized blazers to statement accessories, there's something for everyone. But the key to pulling off these trends without looking like a circus act is to balance out the volume and keep the rest of your outfit simple.

So, are you ready to embrace the ridiculousness of Spring 2023 fashion? Try incorporating some of these trends into your wardrobe and see how they work for you. And remember, fashion is supposed to be fun, so don't be afraid to take risks and try something new!
