Learn about the tools we use in sewing. Learn how to use the main tool, sewing machine, how to thread and operate it properly and some basics on how to get started in this creative hobby and useful life skill. Fun class to take with your kids! (ages 8 & up)

Introduction to Sewing
A great class to take to get you started in sewing! We go over all the main tools we use and teach you how operate a machine successfully. Learn what all the dials and buttons do and most importantly how to properly thread it so the machine does not jam up and you can get on with your projects! It's sew easy!
If you are new to FFD please give us your name age if for a child and your phone number and your best email. Go to the CONTACT US page. If you sign up and we need to cancel or change a class we need a way to contact you!
Credit/Refund Policy
Please inform us if you cannot make a class. A No Show for a class, club or camp the class fee is forfeited (no refund or credit). We have to plan our classes with the right amount of teachers and it helps us to know what our attendance will be.
We offer a class credit if cancelled less than 5 days before start of class. Refunds are subject to a 20 percent service fee.
If a class does not meet our minimum we will reschedule. If we cannot get a class going we will refund the class fee.
